Anyone who was fortunate enough to have had David in their lives, even for a brief period, is better for the experience. Remembering the twinkle in his eyes and kindness in his heart, his inquisitive nature and understanding nod, continue to bring a smile to my face, even through the sorrow of his loss.

May he be admitted into that rest.

I have had the pleasure of knowing David for four years. His knowledge of politics and current events never ceased to amaze me, and It was always a joy to listen to David's stories of teaching English overseas.

I have witnessed David's kindness and compassion for others many times, and his ability to remain positive and enjoy life's adventures in the midst of significant struggles was inspiring.

David will be missed and fondly remembered.
