David Burns of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the age of 60 years. He suffered a fall resulting in a brain injury.
David was born in Edmonton, AB on August 3, 1960. He’s resided in Calgary since 1972. David graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Arts.
David had an inquisitive nature and a passion for reading fostered by his mother. Though David faced challenges in his life he had many beautiful experiences. He lived in Asia and taught English and travelled extensively filling every page of his passport!
David will be remembered as a caring and sensitive Uncle to his nephews, Cameron and Jeremy, a kind brother to Judy and Brent and a devoted son to Bill and Jean.
David is survived by his father Bill Burns, his sister and brother-in-law Judy and Brent McLellan; and nephews, Cameron and Jeremy of Oakville, ON, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his mother Jean Burns.
