Obituary of Tytus Addison (Pikisiinatosi) CROW SPREADS HIS WINGS

It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Tytus Addison Crow Spreads His Wings in Lethbridge, AB, on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.

He was born in Calgary, AB, on May 14, 1984, a beautiful baby boy for my late dad, Addison Crow Spreads His Wings 30th birthday. He got his education in Fort McLeod, AB, Olds, AB, and his Class 1 License from Foothills Driving School. He made his career in the transportation industry for over twelve years with Nakoda Buslines.

He was a beloved brother, nephew, and uncle with a great sense of humour and huge heart. His favourite pastime was singing in Powwows .He sang with the drum groups Rumbling Hills and Bull Horn, and travelled all across North America. He loved all his friends, nieces, and nephews. He will be missed by all who knew him. It is with great sadness that we bury him at the age of 36, but only the good die young.

Tytus (Pikisiinatosi) is survived by his siblings, Lionel, Kristy (John), Janine (PJ), Taylor (Joey), Dakota, Tatum; and the extended Kootenay, Crow Spreads His Wings, Crawler, Twoyoungmen, Dixon, Delenay, First Charger, Wildman, Williams, Weasel Moccasin, Healy, Wells, Mistaken Chief, Many Bears, Many Fingers, Blackwater, Chief Calf, Calf Robe, Fox, and Scoat families.

He was predeceased by our late parents, Irene and Addison Crow Spreads His Wings; our grandparents, Ruth and Dougles Kootenay Sr. , Joe Crow Spreads His Wings and Elaine Smallface; and several friends and family.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Cochrane, 369 Railway Street, Cochrane, AB), on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 8:30 a.m.  Graveside Service to follow at Bearspaw Cemetery (Morley, AB).  Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed Tytus’s obituary at www.McInnisandHolloway.com.
