Condolences
We are deeply saddened for the family for their loss of Jim. What a wonderful man - neighbor and friend to us and we are sorry for ourselves that we won't meet again on this terra firma! We don't even remember how many years we were neighbors but it was those wonderful, tiring but exciting years of raising our families. Jim's eldest was ahead of ours but his last was almost exactly the age of our middle daughter. What a bonus - a delightful, friendly (and tolerant) family right at the stage in life that we found ourselves. What's more - we had no fences between us, literally or figuratively and our kids did, in fact, grow up together.
We named our third daughter Sheri for Sherry next door, mostly due to our admiration of her. She set the bar high as we often saw her mowing lawns, shoveling snow and doing whatever it took to be an ideal daughter in a model family. Speaking of model - it's awesome to see the family pictures! Now only the original 4, but their children also look like models.
We owe a lot to Jim and Marvie to have accepted us and raised children that we fully appreciated as playmates, mentors (Sherry taught our Kara piano and she'd be pleased to hear Kara still occasionally play,) and role models to our three.
So we pay tribute to Jim (and Marvie) with thankfulness, fond memories and respect - in every way. Peace be to Jim's memory.
Ron & Joan Hendrickson, Kristi, Kara & Sheri

Sincere condolences to the Ion Family on their loss.
I got to know Jim at Peace Pipeline Co., we did a lot of business together, he was always ethical and fair and we became great friends. I have many fond memories of lunches and dinners at the 400 Club and Canyon Meadows Golf Course with Jim.
Jim was also a great family man and will be dearly missed by all that knew him.
Rest In Peace!
