Obituary of Fredrik HAAVIND

August 21, 1951 – Oakville, Ontario
January 13, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Fredrik Haavind, beloved husband of Edith King-Haavind of Calgary, AB on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the age of 69 years. 

Fred was born in Oakville, ON. His career as a long-haul truck driver allowed him to enjoy many sights and adventures over the years.  He and Edie enjoyed many long-haul adventures together during their marriage. His hobbies included models, crosswords, renovating their home, and doing Legos with his beloved granddaughter Jessica, the light of his life.

Fred is survived by his loving wife Edie Haavind, son Kris Haavind, sister Liz Harmon and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his step-children,  Machelle, Shannon, Kelvin, Lacinda; his beloved granddaughter Jessica, as well as their families.
