Obituary of Jo-anne Elizabeth MOORE

January 3, 1948 – Winnipeg, Manitoba
January 15, 2021– Calgary, Alberta

Jo-Anne Moore, 73, of Calgary, AB, lost her life to complications from COPD on Friday, January 15, 2021 after battling it fiercely for many years.

She was born on January 3, 1948, to Doug and Molly Clifford in Winnipeg, MB.

A gifted athlete at a young age, later in her life she loved gardening, baking, travelling with her family and spending time with her grandkids. She and Bryan could often be found reading the paper together in their Deer Run home, feeding the birds in Fish Creek Park or enjoying the mountains.

Jo-Anne will be lovingly remembered and endlessly missed, for her humour, dry wit, and her happy, loving nature, by her husband Bryan; and daughters, Kelly (Kirk), Leah, Kate (Rico) and Carly (Shaun). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Logan, Kennedy, Quinn and Evie; and siblings, Ken (Chris), Bonnie and Duncan.

She was preceded in death by her parents Doug and Molly, her older brother Gil, and her brother-in-law Frank.

Jo-Anne will be laid to rest on January 21, 2021 in a private ceremony and a celebration of her life will be planned at a later date.
