Obituary of Trevor Arthur MORRIS

January 15, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Trevor Morris of Calgary, AB, on Friday, January 15, 2021 at the age of 92 years.

Trevor was born in England and immigrated with the family in 1970 to Calgary to pursue a new adventure and career opportunity at Foothills Hospital where he oversaw the running of the Laboratory Department for nine years. In 1979 he moved on to establish the labs at the first Alberta Children’s Hospital where he remained until his retirement. Trevor’s passion for anything trains took the family on numerous rail adventures, and as a member of several modal trains clubs he was well known for his detailed N Gauge layouts.

Trevor was predeceased by his wife of fifty-seven years Dorothy in 2012.  Now left with loving memories are his children, Selwyn (Mary) and Rowena; his grandchildren, Stephen (Justine), Emily; his great-granddaughter, Brynley and numerous life-long friends.
