Obituary of Randy Wayne LUCKHARDT

April 29, 1955 -    Stratford, Ontario   
January 25, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta   

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Randy Luckhardt, at his residence on Monday, January 25, 2021  at the age of 65 years.

Randy loved his family, his faith, his dream job of 32 years with the Calgary Fire Department, his 18 years of scouting and many outdoor activities. His sense of humour is well recognized by all and encouraged laughs and groans alike. He loved to serve others and was well known by most of his neighbours. He will be greatly missed by all.

Randy will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his wife, Sharon (née Brandt) of 38 years and his children:David (Heather Keith); Michael (Renatta Skerlak); Natalie (Jordan Collicutt); Paul (Shaelyn Payne); Jennifer (Humberto Mata Villarreal); John; Emily; and Matthew. He was the cherished grandfather of Dominic, Cadence, Jackson, and Kiara.

Randy is also survived by his brothers and sisters: Shirley (Gus Cameron); Diane (Bill Ney); Brian (Judi Seehagel); Dennis (Audrey Koch); Darlene Balandin; Joanne (Brad Wood); Katherine (Greg Guenther); Pauline (Jack Van Herk); and many nieces and nephews with fond memories of him. He was predeceased by his parents: Alvin John Luckhardt and Evelyn Edith (nee Cook); his brother Wayne; and nephew Christopher.

Funeral Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Martindale Chapel   (95 Martindale Drive N.E., Calgary) on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.  Graveside Service to follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens.  Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed on Randy’s obituary at www.McInnisandHolloway.com.
