Obituary of Elyse Kathleen BOL

January 23, 2021 - Calgary, Alberta
 

Elyse, beloved wife of Eric Bol, daughter of Karen Hart, sister to Zachary and mother of Gaius and Deirdre, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the age of 36.

Elyse was born and raised in Victoria, BC.  She developed a love of animals, and fur-friends were always a constant presence in her life. Elyse attended the University of Victoria where she met her future husband, Eric Bol, and graduated with a degree in Biology.  She pursued a successful career as an optician until health challenges caused her to change paths.

Elyse and Eric married in 2013 and Elyse gave birth to their first child, Gaius, on December 1, 2015.  After moving to Alberta, Elyse gave birth to Deirdre on March 11, 2018. She was a devoted and loving Mumma, giving all her heart and soul to her children. Although her health sometimes prevented her from being the Mumma that she dreamed of being, she was always the Mumma that Gaius and Deirdre needed. Gaius and Deirdre were the light of the world to her and her love for them was limitless.

Elyse’s love for her family and friends was unfailing, giving all of herself to help and support those in need no matter the circumstances.

Elyse will be deeply and truly missed.
