Obituary of Ethel Mary SINCLAIR (nee Godkin)

October 2, 1926 – Balcarres, Saskatchewan

February 2, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

Ethel Mary Sinclair, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at the age of 94 years.

Ethel was born in Balcarres, SK, and moved to Calgary, AB, in 1963. She operated Brentwood Daycare for many years and reflected on her memories of that time fondly. She enjoyed visits with loved ones, caring for and spending time with her many grandchildren and would never miss an opportunity to converse with those around her. Ethel loved to play Bingo and formed friendships wherever she went.

Ethel is survived by her daughters, Marlene Schneider (Don), and Debra Barker; her sons, Mervin (Terry), Gordon and Grant; as well as many grandchildren, great and great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by her three sisters, Marjorie Devon, Dorothy Sanson and Joyce Cleggett of Saskatchewan; and her caring niece Elaine Dickson of Kelowna.

Ethel’s loving husband Graham predeceased her in 1989.
