Condolences
We lived next door to Norm and Edith when we moved to 21 Avenue many years ago. They quickly became a part of our family. A great neighbor and a wonderful friend Norm knew the history of our block, could repair anything and could diagnose any creak or groan from a car or truck. He shared lots of stories about growing up in the country and enjoyed talking farming with Orrist and Michelle. We've missed seeing him biking around the neighborhood and coming home with all the news and happenings in the area. He always had a mischievous smile and we could always be silly and make him laugh! Our deepest sympathies to Edith and the entire family. Norm was a wonderful man and his passing has left a big hole in our hearts.

Dear Family of Norm Graftaas,
We always enjoyed the company of Norm and Edith when they attended all the athletic games of their grandchildren. Our boys, Drew and John especially have wonderful memories of Coach Brian Graftaas who caught the spirit of family and always being involved with the children’s lives from Norm and Edith. Norm is now resting at peace in the presence of his Creator and Savior Jesus Christ along with Tracey and Anne who have gone ahead of us. God be with you all and comfort you with his eternal promise of forgiveness, eternal life and salvation through faith in Jesus Christ.
Our sincere condolences to the Graaftas Family. Jim Molle has many fond memories going back 50 years and a shared interest in mechanics. A beautiful couple and family.

Sending my sympathy. We had so many awesome times with both Norm and Edith. So enjoyed when they came to MN and parked in our yard. So fun. Seems like he and Albert were so alike. Smiling. biking and always helpful,
My condolences to Auntie Edith, and the rest of the Graftaas family. Uncle Norm always had a smile to share when he welcomed you into their home. His kindness and willingness to help others was constant and you couldn’t help but want to be in his presence. I feel fortunate to have lived closely to them for a few years, and enjoyed our visits in their front living room over my lifetime. Love to his family. xo Shannon Gerla
My condolences to Edith and the Graftaas family on Norm's passing.
Norm set the standard for what a great neighbor is and should be. From shoveling your walk when you were away to having every tool imaginable that he was willing to lend out and show you how to use.
His core values came from a time when things were real and tangible a rarity in this virtual world that we live in today.
He is at peace with all and will be missed but not forgotten.
We send our condolences to the Graftaas family. Norm was a great family man and has left a lifetime of cherished memories behind in the hearts of all who knew him.
We were very sorry to hear about Norm's passing. We lived across the street and loved to visit with Norm and Edith either out front or in their cozy living room with their cherished pictures of the family. During our visits, they shared their memories of their life in the neighbourhood - moving there when 19 Street was a dirt road, what our little house looked like when they first arrived, life with their family and all the activities that they were involved in. We were always so impressed to see Norm biking around the neighbourhood and loved waving or stopping to have a quick chat as we were walking our dogs. Norm was a GREAT neighbour. Always looking out to ensure we were safe or picking up our mail when we were away. Our fondest memory will be his kindness and his smile. Sending warm thoughts during this difficult time.

So many wonderful memories of Uncle Norm! From my childhood, when I was there a lot, to later in life I always remember that big welcoming smile whenever I saw him. With love and remembrance I send condolences to the Graftaas family and may you hold dear your favorite memories and keep his spirit alive
