Obituary of Jack THOMPSON

Jack Thompson of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at the age of 91 years.

Jack was born in Oakworth, Yorkshire, England, on May 7, 1929 and immigrated to Canada in 1964 with his wife Mary and their three daughters. Jack’s career was in the print industry for over seventy years, from Heidelberg Press to Mac Computer. In his work and his life, he led by example and was much loved and respected by all who knew him. 

Jack is survived by his daughters, Anne, Julie and Francesca; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Jack was predeceased in 2009 by his wife of fifty-nine years, Mary.
