Obituary of Richard Mayne BAILLIE

August 6, 1927 – Saskatoon, Saskatchewan November 18, 2017 – Calgary, Alberta Dick beloved husband of Ethel Aleda Baillie (nee Eagleton) of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the age of 90 years. Dick was born in Saskatoon, SK and went to the University of Saskatchewan where he received his Engineering Degree. Dick and his lovely wife Aleda married in Saskatoon but soon moved to Alberta to start their family. He worked for Frontier Geophysical before he started his own business, Norcana Exploration. Dick was an avid golfer and loved to travel. He was a well-respected businessman and he will be remembered as a true gentleman and a wonderful husband and father. Besides his loving wife, Aleda, Dick is survived by his two daughters Dorothea Jane Brown (John) and Peggy Joanne Baillie (Allen). He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Nicole Sandra Brown and Michael Richard Brausen. Dick was predeceased by his two daughters, Gerry Lee Brausen and Sandra Jean Baillie. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road S.E., Calgary, AB) on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow at the funeral home.
