Condolences
It was a shock to hear of Jason's passing. I played hockey with and against Jason and always enjoyed his competitive attitude. As I'm 50 this year this is a very humbling reminder of live life to its fullest every day. Your friend and team mate G.
I have not known Jason personally for many years but have followed his life through the family, and he has always been there. My heart goes out to Doug and the whole family in your sadness as you try to deal with his loss at such a young age.

Michell and Carter - our family is praying for you at this difficult time of your loss of Jason. Please accept our condolences and know that we are here for you. God bless Jason now that he is at peace, and God bless you going forward with peace and beautiful memories.
Kindest thoughts and deepest sympathy are with you, Doug and the Linkletter family. I first met Jason at a day care centre when he was flying around the halls on crutches. Later Linda and I became best friends while raising our kids in Lynnwood. During the winters Jason ate, slept and breathed hockey. I can just imagine how proud he was of his talented athletic children. In the summers Jason, Linda, my children and I often found time to visit parks for BBQs and other outdoor fun. One summer we all went to my boss's cottage in Invermere. I don't want to divulge all of the ugly details, but I can tell you we left the cottage in need of drywall repair and a cut on my daughter's cheek (that turned into a permanent scar Michelle reminds me). Wonderful memories! I hope you can find comfort in your favourite memories of Jason.
Very sorry to hear this. Worked with Jay for 5 years all over Alberta. He made the journey fun. God bless
My condolences to the family. I hope you can find comfort in knowing Jason’s legacy continues. I knew Jason when we were the age his youngest is now (give and take). Reading that his signature “sarcasm and quick wit” remained present is not surprising. I hope all can reflect on a specific jab and remember him that way, with a large mischievous smile on his face and joy in his heart.
What a pleasure it was to have had Jason in our lives even for this short unfair time. You will always be in our hearts and never forgotten. To his 3 children..you were born into the right family and having Jason as a dad should always be an honor. I send healing prayers and hugs to all of you. Candy Kostiuk-Thoen.
