Obituary of Audrey Joan BROOKS

Joan Brooks of Calgary, AB, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the age of 86 years.

Joan is survived by her son Kelly Brooks (Carolyn), daughter Patricia Brooks, granddaughter Tala (Jamie) Viens, great-granddaughter Chanelle, great-great-granddaughter Hazel and sister-in-law Joanne (Ken) Nate.

Joan was predeceased by her husband William “Bill” Brooks in 2013, granddaughter Caroline Gallant (Ray Sholer), brother-in-law Gordon and his wife Beverley.

The family would like to give a special thanks to all the staff at Walden Heights Age Care for their outstanding care of Joan in the past five years.  Special thanks also to Dr. M. Cunningham and Dr. J. Kholi.  Donations can be made if so desired in Joan Brook’s name to the Parkinson Association of Alberta. 

A Private Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2021, at 1:00 p.m.
