Obituary of Elizabeth Mary PITHERS

June 22, 1921 – County Down, Northern Ireland November 14, 2017 – Calgary, Alberta Elizabeth beloved wife of Henry Aubrey Pithers of Calgary, AB, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the age of 96 years. After immigrating to Canada with their young family in 1958, Henry joined the RCAF and they travelled extensively. Settling in Red Deer and finally, dividing their retirement between the Mountains of Mourne in Ireland and Phoenix Arizona. Elizabeth was known and loved for her sunny disposition, kindness and amazing apple pies. Besides her loving husband, Henry, Elizabeth will be lovingly remembered as a dear mother to her daughter and son-in-law, Fiona and Dan Bartok; her son and daughter-in-law, Terence and Joanne; she will also be greatly missed by her extended family, friends and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road S.E., Calgary, AB) on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Reception to follow at the funeral home.
