Obituary of John Robert Mayer

July 13, 1931 – Oxbow, Saskatchewan

April 1, 2021 – Airdrie, Alberta

Bob, a kind, loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 1, 2021at the age of 89 years.

Bob lived a full life which included many years of service in the propane industry.  He enjoyed time spent travelling, skiing, golfing, and enjoying special times with his wife, family and friends.  Bob never let the rules get in the way of a good time.

Bob, your work is done, the car is clean, the garage is organized, and the house is kept.  Rest in peace knowing you are deeply loved and will be missed by all.

His immediate surviving family includes Darlene (Dee) his wife of 65 years, daughter Janice (Brian), sons Doug (Cindy) and Harvey (Arlene); grandchildren Travis (Allison), Bekke (Mike), Brandon (Simone), Danielle, and Kurtis; great-grandchildren Avery, Harper, Ila, Aria and Kali.  He is also survived by his sister, Audrey; his brother Gerry; sister-in-law Wynne and brother-in-law Wayne (Marg).
