Condolences
Thinking of Janice, Richard and the whole family! Remembering Peggy as a kind and loving mother and a good neighbour on Carlyle Road where we grew up. My mother Ethelene Gareau still lives there and sends her condolences! Thinking of you with love, Paula Galotta
Affectionately known within the Groff family as "Auntie Peggy"
Bea & I would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family in the passing of Peggy. We enjoyed both Peggy and Roy's company and friendship over four decades in the Gyro Club of Calgary. They were fun to be around and demonstrated true friendship.

I just want to quickly share some memories of my beautiful grandma Peggy I have lots of wonderful memories of my grandma she was the best grandma ever we spent many holidays together including Christmas and Easter and Thanksgiving some of my best memories of my grandma or of her wonderful meal she cooked us that usually included turkey or a fresh salmon that my aunt and uncle out by Vancouver would send us we also spent Christmas together we would arrive Christmas often greeting them with a Christmas Carol at the doorstep and once welcomed in my grandma and grandpa would have cute nightgowns for Christmas that we would quickly change into my grandpa with always snap a few pictures of us pointing her finger at the top of the Christmas tree to the star this was so much fun I still have lots of the pictures and can look back over them over the years as we grew we would also come up in the summer time to go Berry picking and her family picnics and to spend time with our grandparents they would take us down to the shack in Brooks for a few days we send the hot summer days
Swimming in the irrigation ditch and at night time having huge bonfires we even often collected mushrooms that my grandma would fry up for dinner after the rain we will continue our time with them in the summer by going to the zoo and heritage Park and we never left without a new outfit or two for start of school and new shoes my grandma love to shop and take a shopping and get us a haircut some of the haircuts were kind of funny but that’s OK I will always my remember my grandma as a loving and caring woman who served others and God she stood happily beside my grandfather as he served as president of the Boy Scouts of Canada for many years their marriage lasted well into their elderly years almost 60 years to be exact my grandfather has been gone now for 11 years I know today that they are having a wonderful reunion in heaven with their parents and loved ones I’m grateful for all that they brought to my life my grandma was a special woman I’m grateful to share her name we were so blessed to have her as a matriarch of our family she will live on in our hearts and I hope I can be half of the grandmother she was until we meet again grandma I love you I am now grateful for the angel I have in heaven who is preparing for me to come there one day until we meet again please give grandpa a hug for me love you both love margie
