Obituary of Elizabeth (Betty) Ann MacKINNON (nee Webster)

December 10, 1942 – Foxford, Saskatchewan
April 10, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

Betty MacKinnon of Rocky View County passed away Saturday, April 10, 2021 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, at the age of 78 years.  

Betty is lovingly remembered by her husband Earl, very special nephew/“son” John (Shula) Cushley; sisters, Lois Webster (Roy Johnston), Jean (Ken) Forsen; Earl’s sons, Chris and Darcy (Jenn), granddaughter River; her nieces and nephews;  Shanks and Webster cousins and their families.  Betty’s memory is also cherished by her many friends in the quilting community.  Her kindness, generosity, quick wit and sense of humour was a gift to all who knew her. 

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to her many friends, and especially Kathy Mooney, for their help and support during Betty’s final journey. 

As per Betty’s wishes no funeral will be held.  Donations in her memory may be made to  Diabetes Association of Alberta, Canadian Cancer Society, or Cochrane Humane Society. Condolences, memories and photos may be shared and viewed on Betty’s obituary at www.McInnisandHolloway.com.
