Obituary of Rhea Vistan THOMAS

Rhea beloved wife of Bradley Thomas of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at the age of 35 years.

Rhea was born in Manila, Philippines on June 12, 1985. She immigrated to Canada and moved to Calgary, AB. In 2014 Rhea graduated from the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila with a degree in Nursing. She married Bradley in 2014. Rhea enjoyed going out to malls, trying new foods, the outdoors and watching and playing sports. She loved her family so much, especially her son Markus. She had a passion for arts and crafts. Rhea’s most memorable vacation was when she took Brad and Markus to her home country to visit her family for the first time. Rhea’s favourite saying was “always be kind to people”. She will be most remembered for having a big heart.

Rhea was an amazing wife, mother and friend. She was always there when we needed her and it didn’t matter what it was. She was also a good listener. Rhea had a talent in just about everything. She was always learning something new and she very much enjoyed her arts. Once her son Markus was born, she was so very happy. The love she had for us and her family was so strong that she would do anything she could to help. It’s hard to believe she is gone, but she will never be forgotten. All the lovely memories we all had had shared with Rhea will live in our hearts forever.

Besides her loving husband, Rhea is survived by her son Markus, parents, Romulfo and Remedios; sister Rhona and brother Rhovee. 

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) Tuesday, May 4, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

A Private Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences, memories and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
