Condolences
Dear Darryl and the whole Lafrance family,
I knew Erin was a special person from the first time we met. I hired her at Telus as I knew from the first interview that she was sincere, trust-worthy, and smart. She turned out to be so much more. Erin was always gracious even in the tough times and I always truly appreciated how she made me feel welcome. I will always remember the brain tumor cake and how many friends she had supporting and loving her so unconditionally. She truly was one of a kind.
The video celebration is beautiful and thank you for allowing us into such a difficult and loving family time.
My heart aches for you.

On behalf of the staff at Chaparral School, we send our deepest condolences to you, your family and friends. Adele and Colson are beautiful children and are such a wonderful legacy of Erin.
Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers.

As your neighbour from many years ago on Sunmount Court and one of Erin's sparring partners in Kung Fu; I send you my love and hope for a happier time ahead for you all. Erin was a gem! I will forever remember her spirit, her lovely face and her joyful smile I will always see. Nothing can dim the light she brought to us all. Bless you. Love and hugs, Susan
We were so sorry to hear of Erin’s passing. We had only met her a few times but were always impressed by her vibrancy. The first time we met was at our son’s wedding. A few years later we shared transportation with her and Darryl to the river for Ken and Velvet’s wedding. We were also lucky enough to be included in group camps at Paddys Flat where we enjoyed chatting with them. Our son Reuben and his wife Jo often mentioned the other fun times they had together with Darryl and Erin. Our hearts are with you.

On behalf of the Curren Family, I would like to offer our condolences on the loss of your dear Erin. The memorial service was a very nice tribute to her life.
The HR Team at Bow Valley College will forever miss Erin, not just because she was so good at her job but also for the passion, commitment and sense of fun she brought to the team. A number of others at the College have reached out upon hearing of Erin's passing and without fail they have all commented on her authenticity and that she was a force of positivity, had great energy and was a joy to be around. She touched many people at Bow Valley College and there is much sorrow on her passing.
I send my sincerest condolences to all the family.
To the Amazing LaFrance Family next door. You have provided Erin with all of the love and support possible, especially in the last few months. Erin had an infectious smile and a laugh we will always remember. We have watched Erin grow up next door from being a young girl and growing into an amazing Mother, Wife, Daughter, Sister and Friend to many. We will cherish the memories we have of Erin and always be here to support you in any way we can. Sending Lots of Love and Hugs to the whole family!

We remember Erin as a fun loving, good friend to our daughter, Melissa.
Our best memories are of she and Darryl’s attendance at Melissa and Kevin’s wedding.

Dear Darryl, my name is Clare Drossos. My husband and I met you through the Brain Tumour Society. I was immediately struck by her positive spirit. I was so drawn to her attitude about her situation. She listened to my story intently and in that short time helped me to come to terms with my struggle. They say there are certain people who come into your life and leave an indelible imprint on your heart .Your wife did that after that one night we met. We spoke several times on the phone. She shared my triumphs and my defeats, cheering me on, every step of my journey. I am truly and profoundly sorry for your loss. Your wife will always be with you. Tell your children their mummy will always be with them. When they need her, to place their hand upon their heart. That heartbeat that they feel is her saying, I am always here for you, anytime you need me, talk to me.
I was truly honored and privileged to have met her.
Rest in peace Erin. Safe passage to your rightful place with the Angels.
Hello Darryl, I am sending you a note to extend my deepest condolences to you, your children and extended family. I came to know Erin through the U of C and knew from the beginning what a bright spot she was. We stayed in touch and then when the family moved to Chapparel, we had the chance to get out and walk together through Fish Creek. I will miss that incredible smile and warm heart and will hold you and the children in my prayers. May she rest in peace.
