Obituary of Sandra Lorraine VADNAIS

Sandra Vadnais, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at the age of 74 years.

Sandra was born in St. Boniface, MB, on December 10, 1946. She moved to Calgary at a young age and spent over fifty years there.  She worked in a variety of positions in the city, making many friends along the way.  She dedicated over twenty years of her life working in sales at Sears Canada, retiring only because the store closed. Sandra enjoyed crossword puzzles and puzzles and most of all, spending time with her friends and family. Sandra’s most memorable vacation was her last vacation with her family and in-laws in Kelowna, B.C. watching her son and daughter-in-law getting married. She will be most remembered for her kindness and generosity to her family and friends.

Sandra is survived by her son Richard Vadnais, who she called Richie Poo, her daughter Petra Vadnais, and grandchild Kyra Maeckelburg. She is also survived by her brother Don Ovens. Sandra was predeceased by her parents, Earl and Hazel Ovens.
