Obituary of Jeffery Aaron HOLDER

October 14, 1985 – Calgary, Alberta October 19, 2017- Calgary, Alberta Jeffery Aaron Holder was born on October 14, 1985 in Calgary, Canada, and died October 19, 2017, at the age of 32 years. Jeffery had only an even chance of surviving his birth but he surpassed the expectations and proved to be a tremendous fighter that had accomplished so much in his short-lived life. Jeff was born and raised in Calgary and was known by many to be an increasingly successful entrepreneur. Jeffery spent the majority of his childhood years exploring the excitements of the world and trying new things. Among all things, Jeff became an expert at skateboarding and was a phenomenal athlete in general. His spontaneous and vibrant personality fueled his ability to succeed in many sports. In addition to skateboarding, he was also very good at cliff jumping and snowboarding. Jeff typically kept up with his skateboarding in the summer and snowboarding in the winter all throughout his twenties, and until his tragic death. He had an incredibly contagious and positive vibe about him, which seemed to bring forth joy in everyone he met. If you were too scared to skydive, or were feeling down, Jeff always seemed to remedy it. Jeff launched his very own business in 2011, Perogie What, a food cart selling specialty perogies and hotdogs at local venues and events. Jeff found moderate success with his food cart business however; by the year of 2017, he became interested in another business idea and spent most of his time pursuing his business plan. Jeff was also planning to relocate to Victoria, British Columbia, in early 2018. Jeff was very passionate about reaching for the stars and achieving his own potential as he encouraged many others to try to reach theirs also. Jeffery was the younger brother of Sean Derek Holder and the older brother of both Travis Keith Robak and Dustin Lorne Robak. Jeffery is survived by his loving mother, Glynis Robak. Jeffery also had two pets, a dog named Charlie and a cat named Aberdeen. A Celebration of Jeffery’s Life was held at the Cedarbrae Community Center (11024 Oakfield Dr S.W., Calgary, AB) on November 4, 2017 at 1:00 pm. A memorial bench is going to be placed in Fish Creek Park in Calgary in loving memory of Jeffery’s life. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
