Obituary of Nancy ALAMAG

June 17, 1949 – San Juan Batangas, Philippines

May 13, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

Nancy Barral Alamag, beloved wife of Teresito Alamag, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at the age of 71 years after a long battle with progressive supranuclear palsy.

Nancy was born in San Juan Batangas, Philippines. She attended Lipa City Colleges, Philippines, and graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education.

Nancy was a member of the Couples for Christ, Marriage Encounter, Bukas Loob Sa Diyos, and Catholic Women’s League. Nancy loved spending time with family and friends. Her most memorable vacation was to the Philippines in 2013.

Besides her loving husband, Teresito, Nancy is survived by her two sons and daughter-in-law, Bimbo, and King and Tina; three daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Benny, May and Rulphie, and Ivy and Jerick; and eleven grandchildren, CK, CJ, Matan, Riona, Ranea, Caila, Gavin, Martin, Ella, Maxine, Ava. She is also survived by her three brothers and sister-in-law, Boodgie and Marilyn, Rico, and Sammy; sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Eric; sister-in-law, Belen; and her pets, Ryder and Luna.

Nancy was predeceased by her parents, Aniceto and Pilar; sister Carmen, brother Pilani, and her daughter-in-law Christina.

A Private Funeral Mass will be held, on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Condolences, memories and photos can also be shared and viewed here.
