Obituary of John Raymond (Ray) GRIEP

September 27, 1927 - Macklin, Saskatchewan 
May 15, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

Ray Griep passed away peacefully at home in Calgary on May 15, 2021 at the age of 93 years.

Ray was a much-loved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, who was always there to lend a helping hand without the slightest thought of return.

Ray will be sadly missed by his six children, Marianne, David (Cheryl), Patricia (Brent), Louise (Yohannes), Catherine (Scott) and Joanne (Bruce); his eleven grandchildren, Joshua (Paddy), Naomi, Megan (John), Nathan (Haileigh), Tyler (Lisa), Kyle, Dylan (Rachelle), Trevor (Janelle), Theodore, Taylor and Morgan; his nine great-grandchildren, Rylee (Jade), Jordynn, Kaitlyn, Kaden, Tyce, Sadie, Brynley, Callie and William; his compassionate caregivers, Joyce, Emma and Ann; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. 

Ray was predeceased by his loving wife Fran of 61 years, his parents, Johann and Agnes; his siblings, Alfie, Herman, Benny, Ethel, Fred, Marie, Fran and Carol.
