Obituary of Kristen Barbara Louise DESCHAMPS

May 8, 1989 - May 26, 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful Prairie Lilly “Xachinagha” Kristen.

She leaves behind to mourn her mother Sharon, her father Ronald Deschamps Sr.; her brothers, her number ones, Cameron, Thomas (Erin) and Ronald Jr. (Katherine); her babies who she loved with all her heart, Larissa, Kaydence, Aspen, Price, Colby, Daylight, and all her extended nieces and nephews. She also leaves to mourn, her Grandpa Roy Otter; adopted grandparents, Jim and Alberta Miller from Porcupine, South Dakota, Victor and Bruce Starlight, Regena Crowchild, Keitha Manyhorses, her aunties Sophia Otter, her momma Cindy and her poppa Clint Hunter, Vanessa Otter, Donna Deschamps, Poppa Dean Manywounds, uncles Wayne, Kevin Deschamps, her cousins, Carson, Guffy, Garth, Narcisse, Kaitlin, Tiaerra; her extended family from Maskwacis; the Deschamps, Mackinaw, Bull, Roasting, her extended family from Tsuut’tina Nation, her Sundance family from the four directions.

She was predeceased by her grandmother (mom), Barbara Otter, Clara (Raymond) Deschamps, niece Arizona Otter Whitney; brothers, Barry, Kaylen, Jordan Jr. sister Gloria Anne Otter, uncle Rick Deschamps, aunties, Lorraine Deschamps  and Iris Otter.

Wake Services will be held at 205 North Sarcee Path, Tsuut'ina, AB  on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. A private Funeral Service will be held on Monday May 31, 2021. Graveside Service will follow at Tsuut’ina Cemetery.
