Obituary of Anne CZAPSKI

July 22, 1959 – Montreal, Quebec
May 30, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

Anne Czapski, beloved wife of Rick Czapski, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021 at the age of 61 years.

Anne was born in Montreal, QC.  She attended the University of Western Ontario and graduated with her B.Sc.N. degree.

Anne worked as a nurse manager at AHS. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, reading, hiking, and spending time with her grandkids. A highlight of her life was graduating with a Masters in Health Studies, and when her grandchildren, Grace, Logan and Jack were born. She was extremely proud of her daughter’s accomplishments, and proud of having reached Grade 9 level piano.

Anne had a passion for gardening and growing flowers. She liked hiking in the mountains, and  enjoyed visits to Disney World, Disney Cruises, and all things Mickey. Her most memorable vacation was her first visit to Disney World with her daughters. Anne also loved doing crafts with her grandkids. Anne will be most remembered for her dedication to her family and career.

Besides her loving husband Rick, Anne is survived by her two daughters, Elizabeth (Kryzsztof) of Calgary, AB, and Christine and son-in-law Graeme of Wetaskawin, AB; three grandchildren, Grace, Logan and Jack; Gerald Litchfield of Saint Marys,  ON; and sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Dave Callaghan of Simcoe, ON.

Anne was predeceased by her parents, Earl and Hilda Litchfield.
