Obituary of Lena Louise OZUBKO (nee Nasby)

Lena Ozubko of Calgary, AB, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2021, at the age of 90 years.

Lena was born in Youngstown, AB, on November 28, 2021. Lena will be remembered as a proud listener of country and western music and dances. She always enjoyed watching both Three’s Company, and I Love Lucy. She loved her independence and drove cars until her late 70’s. Family was always very important to Lena; she would prepare Nipfla (noodle) with Bratwurst Sausage when everyone got together, along with her strawberry pie, which the family loved. Lena will be sadly missed.

Lena is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Garry and Nila Nasby; daughter and son-in-law, Loiuse and Dean Norman; seven grandchildren, Aaron Nasby, Heather Stegman, Nathan Nasby, Stephen Nasby, Anna Nasby, Trevor Norman, and Candace Norman; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
