Obituary of Greta (Kedun) AMOS

January 27, 1951 – Morley, Alberta
June 12, 2021 – Calgary, Alberta

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Ena, Mother, Grandma, Great-Grandma, Sister, Auntie, Cousin and Friend, Greta Amos, who was called home by our Creator on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at the age of 70 years.

Born in Morley, Greta was the only child of Gracie Hunter.

Greta is survived by her husband of fifty years Dandy, her children, Ian (Lawanda), Jolie, Lorna, Amy, Joni (Eric), Laura (Murphy), Paget, Dan, and Eric; special sister and special grandson who she raised, Daisy and Dre; adopted children, Chris Bearspaw, Clifford and brothers, Frank and Lisa Powderface, Jubileen Twoyoungmen; half brother and sister, Jerry and Rhonda; close cousin Adele Rider; and twenty-nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and extended family. We apologize if we have missed anyone.

Greta was predeceased by her mother Gracie Hunter, son Andre, daughter Renee, granddaughter Lanicia, great-grandson Kayden, grandparents, Elijah and Jenny; extended family, Adolphus Hunter, Betty Hunter, Murray and Hazel Hunter, Libby, Dewight, and Wanda Hunter, Eva Labelle, Ricky Labelle, Scottie Labelle, Casey Labelle, Daisy Hunter, Byron Labelle, Brenda Goodstoney.

Wake Services will be held in rotations at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Cochrane, 369 Railway Street, Cochrane, AB) on Monday, June 21, 2021 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Cochrane, 369 Railway Street, Cochrane, AB) on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.  Graveside Service to follow at Bearspaw Cemetery (Morley, Alberta).
