Condolences
Alvin D, Halpenny August 19, 2021
Hi All, and Ken!
Where do I start Buddy?
When you picked me up from with logic when I was down?
When you helped me figure out business issues?
When you chastised me for some of the unsavory associates I would introduce to you?
When you listened, and then listened more?
When you educated me about Politics?
When you and ED would barter comments about each other? And why ED would not pay his part of the tip?
When you rolled your eyes at Rick B., but never said anything, for buying his dogs a Pub meal?
Why was it that every restaurant we ever went to, bar none, the waitresses would roll out the red carpet for you, not me, just you. How did you do that? I think they just admired the Gentleman in you!
How you stopped the Worlds' time clock when you kissed Pearl goodbye before our lunches. Your kiss to her was Heavenly.
How you never talked about anyone, good or bad, but we all always visited you? You listened to all of us, you did?
You treated me much more often than I treated you, yet it never felt like that.
How you reduced me to pulp when I whined about the cost of a glass of wine, and then we laughed, especially you.
You brightened our table ever time you sat down. We laughed ever time.
You always remembered to call the next day to say "Thank you".
Ken, it is my turn to say "Thankyou".
When I meet your soul next time, remember, it's my round!
Regards for now,
Alvin
Ken was a man I hold in great regard
I felt so lucky to find a new friend so late in my life
Ken made me feel so comfortable in his company
He always was able to find humor when we all got together and so well dressed," He was a Dapper man"
and I am sure Pearl you were the reason for that
Ken was quietly spoken but I held on every word . I so enjoyed our conversations
I hope one day we may have some more
For now I will miss him
Take care my friend
Your friend SteveBeddoe
You will be missed by my Father, Rick Balbi, and all of us that had the pleasure of meeting you at Rick Balbi Architect. You were a very kind and funny man and a dear friend to my Dad. Yours truly, Delia Wieser
