Obituary of Sergio Mario DEKLIC

Serge Mario Deklic passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021 at the age of 62 years, after fighting a long battle with leukaemia.

Serge was born in Calgary, AB, on August 3, 1958.  Although Serge’s wings were ready to fly, our hearts were not, and he will be deeply missed by the surviving members of his loving family. 

Serge had a strong passion for hockey and football; a passion so strong that he was able to influence and involve everyone around him. Serge’s piercing blue eyes were able to light up any room with just a glance. He was a strong willed, stubborn man, but these qualities were his most important, as they are what made him who he was and loved by all. Serge’s charming smile and humorous personality will be fondly remembered by his devoted family.

Serge’s legacy will continue to be carried on throughout his family, as he is survived by his first wife and first daughter, Louise and Kahra Deklic; granddaughters, Zoey and Amilia; his second wife, Tammy Lassey, and their children, Kaitlynn, Arianna, Jayden Deklic, Cassandra Lassey, and granddaughter Anna-Sky, as well he is survived by his youngest daughter, Isabella Deklic.

He is also survived by his mother Maria Deklic, sisters Susanna, Claudia and Liliana, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. 

He was predeceased by his beloved father Giuliano Deklic and darling sister, Rosie.
