Carolyn and family. Your dad was just the best - always kind and interested in many things. He so loved a good conversation. He will be missed. Prayers go with you and I will watch livestream. Gerry Scharff
Dear Carolyn and family - we are so very sorry to hear of your Dad’s death. He was such a gentleman, always with a twinkle in his eye and we enjoyed our conversations with him at church very much. He will be missed. Thinking of you all at this difficult time.

We were so sad to read about Don’s passing. Our condolences to the family. We are also one of Don’s neighbors at the lake and it was a pleasure to know him. He was a very sweet man.
Growing up next door to “Mr Campbell” and his beautiful family in Lakeview and spending time with the Campbells at Lake Edith brings back so many wonderful memories. Don’s smile and energy was contagious. I will always remember watching Don mow his lawn every Thursday night in Calgary so that he could get back up to Jasper on Friday and be with his family for the weekend. My condolences and best wishes to the Campbell family. Murray Blair
We have had the pleasure of being Don's neighbours at Lake Edith for the last five years. He was a well respected volunteer for the area and a wealth of knowledge regarding the history of the community. Conversations with Don were always upbeat, humorous and witty, sprinkled with life lessons now and again. Don was a very intelligent, kind and humble gentleman. Don's daughters and sons in law, together with their families, have been quite the example in regards to their care and devotion towards him in the time that we have known him. Don was grateful for their love and support, as it gave him so much time to spend at Lake Edith, a place that gave him great joy. Don loved his flowers, yard and garden and rescued our flowers from the elk on occasion! 5pm will never be the same there without Don and his ritual scotch and cigar. We will dearly miss him.

Dear Campbell family,
Thank you for loaning us your dad/grandfather. As a valued member of the Jasper United Church Thrift Shop, he regaled us with geology information, travel tips and historical information. He was a treasure, in deed and in word. I will miss him. Paulette Blanchette-Dubé
Sixty-plus years as neighbors with Don and his family at Lake Edith has been a joy for all members of our family. Sheila and I have had the privilege of getting to know Don much better over the last five years. We’ve enjoyed weekly visits with cocktails, stories, and his customary cigar. Lake Edith will never be the same without Dons contributions, not to mention how the elk will miss their regular surprise shower from his sprinklers. We too will miss him as well.
Love to you all in this difficult time,
Sheila and Pierre Lebel
