Todd so sorry for this loss. You are no doubt comforted by the fact your father led a remarkable life. Please know you are in our thoughts. Your colleagues and friends at the Calgary Prosecutions Office
I first met Gus when I worked at Guaranty Trust in Gulf Canada Square. We shared the same barbers, Jerry and Carmen. We then met Gus and Janis at St Patrick's parish and enjoyed getting to know them and their travels. Gus also knew our sons, Matthew and Stephen, who were altar boys there too. They enjoyed getting to know him too.
Will will Gus and his easy smile whether at church or in Superstore. We will remember him in our prayers...Carl & Betty-Ann Andrade

And let Perpetual light shine upon you , Amen.

Please accept our condolences . . . we are truly sorry for your loss. To us, over the years, friendship became family - the stories, the laughs, the coffee dates and the wonderful hospitality which always included delicious food, just to name a few, are cherished memories that will remain forever. We are always a phone call away; do not hesitate if we can help. In the meantime, rejoice in all the special moments you have shared.
Love, prayers and hugs too,
Tom and Lyla
Janis and Gus were neighbours of my parents, Elaine and Mervyn McIntosh, for several years in Calgary. They were very supportive of my father, after my mother passed away in 2010. I was fortunate to meet Gus several times during my visits to my parents, and Jock was a frequent visitor also. A friendly and gracious man. The McIntosh family sends our condolences.
We will always remember a lifetime of family gatherings, travels, holidays together to see the world but most of all, we will remember. Our love, hugs and support to all the family from Uncle Greg, Auntie Merle and all our family.
We will all miss Uncle Gus - all the wonderful big family dinners at Auntie Nanny and Uncle Gus's house (with 25 different delicious dishes - and at least 3 different types of potato dishes), and the summer trips when we were kids to the farm or Kelowna (what a treat that was). We had so much fun together! I will miss all of that, but I am so happy to have wonderful memories. Love Dawn and Rob
