Obituary of Gilbert Ceicel Harrison

Gilbert Harrison, beloved husband of the late Lois Harrison (nee Mauck) of Calgary, AB passed away on Monday, October 4, 2021 at the age of 93 years.

Gil is survived by his children, Joan and Joyce (Don); six grandchildren, Chris, Jenna, Paul, Brendan, Michelle and Stacey; great-granddaughters, London, Molly, Olivia and another expected soon. Gil is also survived by his sister Iona and was predeceased by his wife Lois and his son Robert. 

Gil loved gardening. He designed and planned each winter and enjoyed taking day trips to find rare and unusual plants. He was the family handyman and was always working on lists of projects to be done. His true passion was travel. He was never happier than when planning a trip or traveling with Lois at his side. His face always lit up when he talked about his many trips. Gil lived a full and happy life; we will all miss him so very much.
