Obituary of June Lorraine Graham

June 2, 1948 – Toronto, Ontario

June Graham of Calgary, AB, passed away on Friday, October 15, 2021 at the age of 73 years.

June was born in Toronto, ON, on June 2, 1948. She moved to Langley, BC in 1983 and then to Calgary, AB in 2013 to live with her daughter and family.

June and the love of her life, Randy Stolar, shared their life together from 1983 to 2013 with their two fur-babies. June loved taking care of her family, especially spending time with her two grandkids.  Music was June’s passion; she loved to dance and sing along to Elvis and old country songs. She also enjoyed yoga, walking, gardening, and long drives into the mountains.  She had a fun spirit, was easy-going and adventurous. June’s most memorable vacation was when she went on an Alaskan cruise with her daughter for her 65th birthday. It was her dream. She will be most remembered for her love of music and dance, as well as how much she loved her two grandchildren, her daughter and son in law unconditionally.

June is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Melanee and Russ Rogers of Calgary, AB; and her two grandchildren, Cole and Makena of Calgary, AB. June is also survived by her half sister, Kelee Goodfellow-Sanford of Belleville, ON; her stepfather Neil Burns of Truro, NS; and her beloved pet Harley. June was predeceased by her partner Randy Stolar, her mother Vera Burns, her father Richard Ansell, and her brother Bob Ansell.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Bethany Riverview Care Home in Calgary, for their exceptional care, compassion, and love for Mum and all their residents. They would also like to thank Alberta Health Services for the Memory P.L.U.S program offered to support patients and their caregivers.  This program offers invaluable support for those living with, and caring for anyone diagnosed with dementia.
