Obituary of Keith Holitzki

Keith Holitzki, beloved son of Martin and Marian, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 18, 2021 at the age of 61 years.

Keith was born in Edmonton, AB, on March 24, 1960.  He moved to Mitchner Centre, Red Deer, AB in 1965 and then to Graduated Supports Scenic Bow, Calgary, AB in 1985.

Keith was an incredibly happy, loving, and energetic person, who loved life and brought joy to everyone he met. He enjoyed time with family, especially trips to Edmonton to visit his parents.  He loved music, swimming, and going out for ice cream or coffee.  His favorite times of the year were celebrating his birthday and Christmas.

Keith will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by his mother Marian; sisters, Donalda (Brad) and Rae (Doug); brothers, Kelvin (Cindy), Blaine (Anne) and Mark (Sarah); nieces, Janice (Chris), Laura (Nathan) and Nicole; nephews, Mitchell and Brett, and grandnephew Cecil; as well as uncles, aunts, and numerous cousins, and friends. Keith was predeceased by his father Martin in 2011.

A Private Funeral Service will be held Inurnment to be held at Holy Cross Cemetery and Mausoleum (14611 Mark Messier Trail, Edmonton, AB). Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here.

Keith’s family would like to express our deepest thanks to the staff at Graduated Supports Scenic Bow and Dr. Hudy for their compassionate and exceptional care provided to Keith for the past 36 years.  Also, thank you to Dr. Packer and the emergency staff at Foothills Medical Centre.
