October 21, 2021– Calgary, Alberta

Elizabeth “Liz” Crawford, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at the age of 78 years.

Elizabeth was born in Toronto, ON on May 12, 1943. Elizabeth graduated from the Galt Collegiate Institute High School. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, Welsh Society, and the Chinook Winds Greyhound Society and volunteered with the Calgary Police Service. Liz was an avid reader and conversationalist. She enjoyed greyhounds and cocker spaniels, family, social gatherings and celebrating holidays throughout the year and arranging amazing table settings for friends and family gatherings.

Revelation 21:4

"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

On a personal note, we take great comfort in knowing that the tears and sorrow experienced here on Earth have been easily eclipsed by the joy and happiness Nana is now experiencing with loved ones in Heaven.

Liz is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Jennifer Crawford; and James and Valerie Crawford, of Calgary, AB; five grandchildren and their partners, Chelsea Allison and Mark; Taylor Crawford and Lisa Menjares; Emily Barriscale and Luke; Faythe Crawford, and Katie Crawford; all who reside in Calgary, AB.

Liz is also survived by her sister, Mary Marshall, of Toronto, ON; her cherished greyhound, Angel; as well as many extended family members and close friends.

Liz was predeceased by her beloved husband, Edward “Ted” Crawford, parents Lylian and Harold Marshall; her greyhound Dancer, and numerous cocker-spaniels.
