Obituary of Eugene Pierce Poucette

It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Eugene Pierce Poucette, a dear father, brother, grandpa, uncle, cousin, and friend on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at the age of 55 years.

Eugene was born in Calgary, December 2, 1965. Raised in Morley, he received his education in both Morley Community School and Spring Bank School. He loved the sport of Rodeo, which was his passion for many years, he also participated in Hockey in his younger days. He was an artist, loved to draw on his spare time, also enjoyed music. Eugene had a kind heart a very gentle spirit, always greeted everyone with a smile and handshake. 

He leaves behind his loving children and mother of his children (Lenora): sons, Terence (Tallia) and Alexander; daughter Trishella, adopted daughters, Jazyln H. and Keeshia H.; adopted son Eric (Michelle) Salter, grandchildren, Alayja, Aiden, Daejah, Tadence, Keiston, Haelo, Jana, Cyro, Marcus, Maleek, Tarazey, Sema And Makochin; siblings, Emery (Myra), Loranda, Carrie, Lorriane (Darryl), Pearl (Bradley), BR (Angela), Levi (Nora); adopted brother Irvine (Wyonah) Wolftail; maternal uncles, Ernie and Rudy; aunties, Madeline, Muriel, Pam (Keon) Germiane, Joleen, Hank, Bernadine, Lydon and Laura ( Louie ); uncle Garnet (Miranda), and paternal auntie Kathleen Poucette. Eugene was predeceased by mother Rena Poucette and father Pierce Poucette; brothers, Dion Poucette and Curtis Baptiste; sister Jeniel Daniels; and son Blair Beaver. He was also predeceased by Paul Poucette Sr. and Mary Poucette, Andy Poucette, Paul Poucette, John Poucette, Casey Poucette, Lucy Poucette, and Joyce Poucette; maternal grandparents Louie and Katie Labelle; uncles, Clifford, Harvey, Manuel, Ronald, Ken; and aunties, Evelyn and Pauline.

Wake Services will be held at the residence of Loranda Poucette (Morley, AB) on Sunday, November 21, and Monday, November 22, 2021. Funeral Services will be held at Residence of Loranda Poucette (Morley, AB) on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Bearspaw Cemetery (Morley, AB).
