Condolences
Mr. Taylor was a great principal. He was tough but always fair. He gave us kids a lot of leeway to succeed or screwup. My condolences to the family.

Doug volunteered with Calgary Meals on Wheels for more than a decade, donating hundreds of hours of service. His dedication ensured his neighbours were well-fed and felt cared for, which in turn helped build a stronger community. On behalf of everyone at Calgary Meals on Wheels, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Doug during this difficult time. Sincerely, the Staff of Calgary Meals on Wheels
Helen, Tony, Mark and Valerie-Since we have heard of Doug's passing today, our thoughts and memories have been too numerous to properly assimilate! Know that both of us have lost a friend, a colleague and a truly great individual whom we were priviledged to have known and worked with for many years. Rest assured that Doug lives in our hearts!
I remember Mr. Taylor as my principal when I attended St. Francis High School in the 70's. He dealt with the many aspects of running a large high school in a calm and fair manner. He was very dedicated to our school, and his contributions to making St. Francis a great school will never be forgotten. I also remember Mr. Taylor as Tony's and Mark's Dad. Mr. Taylor, along with his wife, Helen, was always very welcoming to our group of friends. My deepest condolences go out to Helen, Tony, Mark, Valerie, and the rest of the family.
