Condolences
When I first came to live in Canada from Zimbabwe in the mid 80s, CCC and later Jubilee Christian Centre became my home church. I remember Joyce Parsons very well even though many years have passed since I last saw her. What a wonderful woman of God so full of love, grace and poise. So gentle and so kind and indeed a woman of prayer. Her beautiful smile just made you feel like you were so special…so genuine and without guile. Dr Phil Nordin’s eulogy covered it all.
She will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to all her family. I pray for the Holy Spirit comfort and peace knowing that we grieve not as those without hope. She is now in glory with the love of her life Jesus and we will all see her again…soon and very soon when the Lord appears. What a great home sending. Thank you for sharing the video with us who were not able to attend. God bless you!
Joyce was a very special lady and all that met her were aware that she was full of grace and mercy, a true class act. Joyce had a truly loving, joy-filled spirit, a true woman of god. I was drawn to that spirit the first time I met her, she extruded a bright glow of love and peace everywhere she went, and that is what drew people to her. She carried no airs, she did not think she was higher than anyone else, she accepted all as they were, but she had a way of making you want to be the best you could. She had a God given ability to see through the false facade people put up, and she saw into the heart.
This is to a sad farewell message, she is not gone, she is just in a place we cannot reach right now. Joyce has made that wonderful trip we all hope to make on our day, she is now with Jesus where He greeted her with a huge welcome home hug and the greeting, come in and get to know me better. Tears are flowing as I write this as I am so going to miss you Joyce. Rest In Peace precious one of God. Lyne Barnes
To Pastor Joyce family my heartfelt condolences. May the peace of God be with you through this time .I remember Pastor Joyce as a very caring and encouraging spiritual leader, as my family and I were going through a difficult time, she always had kind words for us and constantly prayed for us. She will be missed.

Too many memories to even begin with this wonderful lady! After over 40 years of an incredible journey with Joyce, there is a large hole in my heart and absence in my life without her. She was one of my best friends, my councillor, my gad-about buddy, my confidant, my intercessor, my Starbucks coffee mate, my workmate and so much more. We laughed, we cried, we explored beautiful locations, we shopped, we reminisced old times, vacationed together, prayed together and complained about the weather together. On boring days we would escape to the mountains for a day of rest and relaxation.
There really are no words to describe our relationship - other than maybe incredibly deep and God-ordained from the beginning! As I sat by her hospital bed and held her hand we recalled the good times that will forever be lasting memories. When there was nothing I could do to alleviate her suffering I felt to bring her a soft knee blanket to break the harshness of hospital sheets. I placed it on her tender legs and the smile that crossed her face, I will remember always. With each visit she told me that blanket “covered” her from all of life’s troubles, and no one was allowed to move it.
She may have needed the blanket in this life, but she will not need it where she is now! The love of her Master, her God, her Saviour, is everything she needs. She is experiencing the fullness of that which she believed and taught all of her life. She impacted hosts of individuals, and I am one of those! You will be missed my dear friend, but never forgotten ♥️
