Pat, Paul, Rob, Wanda and Aunt Elsie’s beloved grands and great grands. She was definitely
a very accomplished lady. I have many memories of her as I was in Calgary so much as a youngster. Her smile and the twinkle in her eyes will always be remembered. Your families are in our thoughts as you go through your grieving process. May she Rest In Peace with her beloved John. Reunited with her brothers, sisters and parents. She will be missed, but always loved and remembered.

I am so very sorry to hear of Aunty Elsie passing. We had many long and wonderful conversations especially over the last few years. She could always make me laugh. She was full of wisdom, and was always willing to share it. She will be missed. My prayers and thoughts are with you all as you lay her to rest. Take care of each other. Heather
Mrs. Soucek was my teacher for grades 2 and 3 at R.B. Bennett elementary school in Calgary. She was a fantastic teacher, my favourite in fact, and she made a lasting impression on me. We actually kept in touch for a few years after my family moved away through letters and gifts. I was lucky enough to reunite with her when her nephew became my step-dad in my teen years. We had only been in touch sporadically throughout the years, but Elsie was always a smart, quick-witted woman and I'm so sorry to hear of her passing. My condolences to all who loved her.
