Condolences
Neal was our bass clarinet player with the Calgary Fire Department Cappy Smart Concert Band for many years. In 2007 our band went to the World Police and Fire Games in Adelaide, Australia. He be-freinded my Dad, John Brisbin, and was his roommate and walking partner.. I remember Neal's humour, kindness, and gentle heart. His expression ohhhh?!!! really expressed his curiousity and interest in life and people he met during his life. Neal will be fondly remembered.
Neal was an amazing man! He had a real zest for life and was an inspiration to all who knew him .I loved all of his "Mother's Day" performances at the RosaCenter with the Rocky Mountain Band.
Heartfelt condolances to Nancy, Jody and Murray my thoughts are with you all.

Thinking of you and your family, Nancy. Your Dad was a remarkable man, who always strived for life’s best! So many accomplishments!! We have great memories from our summers at Blue Bird Bay with the Collins’ family! Our sincere condolences. You will miss him….Shirlee and John Lamacchia.
Neal was the most inspirational person I had the pleasure of knowing. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. It was a true honor to attend his graduation in 2011... the only octogenarian I have ever known to receive but another degree. He was one of a kind and will be missed by more than he knew. Sincere sympathy to ‘all’ the Family. Nancy...your Dad lived a full, long life, & you were a wonderfully devoted daughter. ‘All’ of you have shared many good times with Neil, & each of you have special memories. He joins your other family ‘angels’ in heaven. Although I’m unable to attend the funeral tomorrow...my thoughts & prayers will be with you, & each of your family members. Much Love always, Corinne (Cory) xo
