Condolences
Kay was one of my favourite people. She was classy, thoughtful, kind, intelligent, and lots of fun. Merritt and I enjoyed many wonderful times with Kay and Ken. Kay and I often discussed books, politics, and solved many world problems (Ha ha). After moving to Sidney I sorely missed her. Merritt and I extend condolences to the Grove family and to her brother David.
Heartfelt condolences from the Ross family to the beloved Grove family.
Kay and her family played a large part in our family in the 1960/70's. Especially at Shuswap lake.
Kay was a lovely woman of grace and elegance.
She has, and will always have, a place in our hearts.
A life well lived Kay !
Kay and I were bridge partners for many years as well as good friends.
My condolences for your loss. She was a lovely lady both inside and out . I miss her very much.
I am a friend of Mrs. Grove's son, Ian (Happy) and would like to extend my sympathies to him and his family at this time. As I understand it, it was Ian's mom who nicknamed him "Happy" and in that alone, Kay Grove demonstrated her insights and thoughtfulness with respect to her family and friends. Sorry for your loss, Happy - however, I am sure that you have some marvellous memories. From Rita Mirwald
I will do my thing at the hockey game just for you. Glad I could get you guys some salmon and wish church could be back to normal. I will still watch the warm up and you will be remembered for sure.
To Mr. Grove, John, Teddy and Ian - we are very sorry to hear of the passing of your wife and mother. Growing up in Britannia with your family - we have many fond memories. We hope for peace and tranquility for you all. May she rest in peace. Sending love,
Karen Gurevitch (Calgary) and Laurie Gurevitch McCallum (Cranbrook)
The members of the Junior League of Calgary have expressed sadness and sincere condolences upon learning of Kay's death last week. Kay was a member of the Junior League for over 5 decades, and during this time, contributed in many projects and on many committees. She was a friend and colleague to so many of us. She will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are very much with her family.
