It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our husband, father, brother, uncle, councilor of Tsuut’ina Nation. Stan Jr. passed away peacefully at home on the Tsuut’ina Nation on Saturday, January 15, 2022 surrounded by his family.

Stan was born on November 20, 1975 to Josie Big Plume and Stan McMaster. Stan Jr. cherished and loved his family and friends from all over.  He was loved by many. Jr. had a big part in raising his nieces and nephews and he cherished them all so much. He will be missed by everyone and most of all his friendship and the love he had for whoever’s paths he crossed.

Stan was a proud Leader and Councilor for Tsuut’ina Nation. His passion was Sports and Recreation and he was an avid supporter for the Youth. The Basketball world has lost a Legend and will be missed out on the courts.

 

He is survived by his soulmate of twenty-seven years, Sharlene and their children, Latesha and Traejan, whom he cherished; his beloved grand-dogs, Tank and Tister; sisters, Maryann (Rufus), Melissa (Darrell), Trina, Raylene (Ty), and Jasmene (Mickey) and Breanne; and brothers, Waylon (Kodie), Tyler (Aimee), Billy Joe (Carly), Trevor, Shane (Dawn), and Evans (Shilo). He is also survived by his mother-in-law Joyce (Everal) and father-in-law Hank (Linda); sisters-in-law, Candi, Misty, Bobby (Dale), Heather (Marcus) and Nicole; brothers-in-law, Corey (Kristen), Rance, Gary (Natasha), Adrian, Carl (Nicole) and David (Anna); aunts, Bev (Leeroy), Betty (Jimmy), Laverna (Wayne), Delia, Myrna, Lydia (Ira), and Mandi (Trevor); uncles, Frank, Faron, and Harlon (Carmen); adopted daughters, Sadie, Daisy, Rollen, Meaghan, Kali, and Thnaya, and his second wife Candi; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and relatives from Big Plume and McMaster families. Jr. was predeceased by his grandparents, Ann McMaster, Dora and Joe Big Plume who had a big part in helping raise him.

 

Wake Service will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Stan and Sharlene residence 223 Weaselhead Road, Tsuut’ina Nation for the Public from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Seven Chiefs Sportsplex, Tsuut’ina Nation, AB. AHS restrictions will be followed, Masks must be worn at all times. Funeral will be streamed live on Zoom. Immediately following the gravesite, a drive by meal will be served at the Seven Chief Sportsplex. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed at www.McInnisandHolloway.com.
