Obituary of Linda Delphine Twoyoungmen
November 10, 1969 – Calgary, Alberta
January 19, 2022 – Morley, Alberta
With heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of our beloved sister, mother, aunt, niece, cousin, and grandma. Linda was called home by our Creator on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at the age of 52.
Linda had various jobs throughout her life, but the ones she loved the most were at the Pinocchio Dayhome and Wesley Daycare. Linda lived life to the fullest. She loved her grandchildren first and foremost, as well as her children, siblings, and extended family on both her paternal and maternal side.
Linda is survived by her common-law spouse, Patrick Poucette, her children, Riel (Jade), Ryon (Sunshine), Saundra, grandchildren, Julien, Cayleb, Noah, Mery-Jane, Guy, Becka, Tyroan, Joe, Charles, Shawn; mother Helen Twoyoungmen, adopted daughters whom she helped raise: Flora (Sweetness), Rhiann (Sweety), and Tenesha (My Girl) Poucette, and Tosha (Megan) Kootenay; sisters, Pam (Sonny), Claudia (Ali), Agnes (Vincent), Nonie (John), Janice (Myron); and niece Cory Lee (Tommy), special aunt Mary-Jane Twoyoungmen, uncle Randy Twoyoungmen (Jackie). We apologize if we have missed anyone. Linda had numerous relatives both on her paternal and maternal side.
Linda Delphine was the daughter of the late Hughie Twoyoungmen, sister to late Brian Twoyoungmen, Ruben Twoyoungmen, Ronnie Twoyoungmen and Milo Twoyoungmen, mother to late daughter, Shawna Twoyoungmen, grandmother to two twin granddaughters who died in infancy, aunt to late niece Teresa Twoyoungmen, and nephews, Nicola and Taron Twoyoungmen; paternal grandparents, Hanson Sr. and Georgie Twoyoungmen; maternal grandparents, David and Margaret Simeon; maternal great-grandparents, Jonas and Agnes Dixon-Twoyoungmen; and adopted mother Della Soldier, whom she was raised by.
Wake Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Cochrane, 369 Railway Street, Cochrane, AB) on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. Funeral Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Cochrane, 369 Railway Street, Cochrane, AB) on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Wesley Cemetery (Morley, AB).
