Obituary of Ian Dodds

February 22, 1942 – North Shields, Northumberland, England

April 13, 2022 – Calgary, Alberta

Albert Ian Dodds beloved husband of Dorothy Dodds (nee Charles); beloved father of Helen (Dan), Christopher (Julie) and Erik (Tammy); and beloved Poppy of grandsons, Kyle, Shane, Nicholas, Arthur and Kieran, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at the age of 80 years.

Memorial Services will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Fish Creek, 14441 Bannister Road SE, Calgary, AB) on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. Reception to follow at the funeral home. Family and friends who are unable to attend in person are invited to join Mr. Dodds’ service streamed live (see below) on the day of the service. For those who are unable to view live, a recording of the service will be posted. Condolences, memories, and photos can also be shared and viewed here. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made directly to Mental Health Research Canada, www.mhrc.ca/donate.
