It is with great sadness that the family of Margaret Pauline Cook, beloved wife of George H. Cook of Calgary, AB, announce her peaceful passing on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at the age of 84 years.
Margaret was born in Nacmine, AB, on August 3, 1937. She moved to Calgary, AB, and worked at both the Calgary General Hospital and Calgary Sanitarium prior to meeting and marrying the love of her life, George H. Cook in 1961. Margaret will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her for her gentle sweet spirit and devotion to her family. Margaret adored her family and her focus and energy was lovingly directed to them. She loved traveling and visited many countries in Europe. She loved art and fashion and appreciated beauty in all its forms.
Margaret is survived by her four children, Karreen, Clive (Sara), Clayton (Christi), and Curtis (Jane); as well as her beloved grandchildren, Levi, Matthew, Andrew, Tobin, Nathanial, Max and Sadie.
Margaret loved beyond measure, and will be missed more then words can ever express.
A Celebration of Life will be held at McInnis & Holloway (Chapel of The Bells, 2720 Centre Street North, Calgary, AB), on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Reception to follow in the Hospitality Centre at the Funeral Home. Condolences, memories, and photos may be shared and viewed here.
