Condolences
I would like to extend my sympathies to Carol, Diane and Keith . We only found out this week from another neighbour that Mr. Clark had passed away in May, and about Carol’s unfortunate loss as well . Regretfully our condolences are very late. I remember years ago , when he came over to our house with an anniversary gift for my Mom and Dad on the occasion of their 50th anniversary. Mr Clark said my folks were always good neighbours. We always felt the same way about “The Clarks”. Maisie, Jim and I have fond memories of our earlier days growing up across the street from them. Mr Clark lived a good long life. He will be missed.
With sympathy
Grayce, Jim and Maisie (Cameron)
Sending my deepest sympathy Carol, Keith, Diane and families. I remember Mr. Clark when we lived in Renfrew, seeing him working in his amazing garden, walking everywhere or catching the bus. I was a little kid then and I always remember whenever he saw me he always said hello and had a warm smile.
Thinking of you all and may you find comfort in the memories that are yours to cherish always.
Lesley (Penney) Jacobson

We were so sad to hear of Uncle Earl's passing. I remember going to your house as kids for visits on special occasions. I remember the raspberry bushes in the back yard, they were so yummy. He always told me I was his favorite niece .. haha .. A good long life for a great man. I will always rremember Uncle Earl' very fondly.

I remember Mr. Clark when growing up in Renfrew. We lived just two doors down from them. He was probably one of the last remaining original home owners there ,and living to be over 100 years, that is really something! In my later years when I was driving for Calgary Transit on the route 17, I would always pick up Mr. and Mrs. Clark, they both took the bus everywhere.I would always pick him up when he finished work at the post office too! I can still see him going down the street taking Diane in the wagon.and in the winter on a sled, walking everywhere was pretty common thing for him to do.
He always had a beautiful garden where every year he would plant lots of vegetables he had raspberries which where at the end of the alley and I remember always grabbing some as we walked by they were delicious! I stopped by not too long ago and we had a great visit talking about how the neighborhood and how it had changed so much over the years etc. He is now reunited with his beloved wife Evelyn. My deepest sympathy to Keith ,Carrol ,Diane and familys.............Stewart Penney
I am so sorry for your loss of Mr. Clark he was such a great neighbour he was very respected by all neighbours he liked to have little chats and talk about his family and the past. We were neighbours for over 40 years and he never complained about the kids ,noise, chaos or the dogs barking. Gary always tried to get the walks shovelled early or Mr. Clark would have them shovel for us. He was a kind gentle man. Sending my love and lots of hugs Susan Shaw ❤️
