Douglas Lee, beloved husband of Cynthia Lee (nee Ho) passed away on Monday, May 2, 2022 at the age of 87 years. He was born in Calgary, AB, to Harry and Alice Lee. Doug was a proud third-generation Canadian. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma in Petroleum Engineering, yet worked as a financial analyst in Montreal, QC, Switzerland, and Calgary, AB. Doug was also a second-generation member of the Rotary Club of Calgary.

Doug was an avid outdoorsman in his youth; he enjoyed music, attending concerts, and going out with friends. He always took great joy in his grandchildren, spending time with them, watching old musicals together, and reading them stories.

Besides his loving wife Cynthia, Doug is survived by his two daughters, Kecia and Rianna (Jonathon); grandchildren, Sienna (Charles), Tristan, Grace, Azélie, and Rome; and great-granddaughter, Mary.

As he requested, there will be no funeral service. A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 pm at McInnis & Holloway (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive SW). Condolences, memories, and photos may also be shared and viewed there.
