Condolences
Andy and I know Shirley through Brushstrokes, where I paint with her. We didn't know John well, but Shirley has always spoken kindly of how enthusiastically he supported her hobby (by building easels, for example) and how well he supported her in life in general. We know how much she will miss him, and we will be there for her in any way we can.
JOHN & WAYNE POURED CONCRETE AT SAIT TOGETHER. JOHN THEN WENT TO ATCO AND WAS A DRAFTSMAN UNTIL HE RETIRED. WAYNE WENT TO COMMONWEALTH CONSTRUCTION FOR 10 YEARS & ON TO DELTA PROJECTS FOR 25 YEARS BEFORE HE RETIRED. THEY STAYED IN CONTACT WITH EACH OTHER THROUGH THE YEARS. BEV GREW UP WITH MANY OF THE MEGYSIE FAMILY. WE ARE SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. AS THE GOSPEL QUARTET SONG SAYS, "WELCOME TO HEAVEN MY CHILD".
Aunty Shirley, Johnny, Laurie,David and Richard

Heaven gained another Angel
Love you all
Aunty Shirley we are so so sorry for your loss. Laurie, David, Johnny and Richard we are so so sorry for you losing your dad. We just want you all to know we are praying for you and love you. Uncle John was an amazing man of God and we now that right now he is in heaven with Jesus walking the streets of gold. He I am sure wants you to know he loves you and will see you all again. God bless you and may God bring you peace and comfort at this very difficult time.
John was a strong man of God.Talented in construction and deeply loved by his family.
When we came home from overseas in the 70's while living in Calgary every Sat. early morning John picked up our 7 year old
Greg and took him with others and his own to hockey. Many Sat's Greg would have slept in his hockey gear excited to be ready when uncle John came to pick him up.Greg was never left behind.A VERY GENTLE CARING MAN.
Lyle & Irene Horrill and family,
